Mary Perlitz— owner
The story of Park 31 lies deep within her roots.
In the beginning, the land was home to Germans migrating to the area. It was organic, rocky, had a creek running along one side and offered shade on hot summer days. Back then, it was perfect place to settle and raise a family. Today, this land continues to remain the perfect place to plant families. Mary Perlitz, owner of Park 31, grew up around the kitchen table, listening to family members share memories while also creating new ones. It was the heart of her childhood: family. Her heart for family is what guides the Park 31 experience. You become part of the family and everyone has a seat at the kitchen table. Rooted in scripture, prayer and love, the grounds of Park 31 carry a peace which is felt each time you step onto it’s property. The rock exterior of the venue honors it’s history and charm while the steel beams and industrial features highlight the new world. By honoring the past, and bringing forth the new, Park 31 pays tribute to the roots planted here, both then and now, and continues to plant and raise families for generations to come.
It is the perfect place to start one.

Is our new newlywed of the bunch! The now proud wife of Police Officer Scott Ristow, they married here at Park 31 on December 22, 2018. Her story is quite interesting. She has been a professional singer since the young age of 15. Her career was catapulted from a regional favorite to the international stage when she earned a spot as a Season 6 finalist of American Idol. She appeared on Regis and Kelly, Ellen, & Jay Leno, to name a few as a guest artist. Since then she continued touring the world singing for different Symphonies and opening for many different artists. It was until two years ago she found out she was diagnosed with Metatastic Thyroid Cancer. Having to break the news to her fresh two month relationship to Scott, you can imagine how scary it was to undergo surgery this close to her vocal chords. Well, through-out their journey fighting cancer, he proposed and she started planning for the big wedding day. That was she came across the beautiful Park 31 and met Mary Perlitz. What a blessing this was for them! They were able to have the most beautiful wedding ever imaginable and she gained a friend and a new career. She has been working there ever since and loving it. She recently wrote and recorded a song for her groom to walk down the aisle called “I choose you”.
